Position Summary
The Patient Care Supervisor is responsible for supervising the staff of patient care operations. Provides workflow direction; supervision consistent with achieving department objectives. Other duties include achieving coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of the Medical Center acute care setting, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and budgeting, and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams.

Minimum requirements
Diploma/Degree in Nursing
Current Minnesota RN license
BLS certification
Minimum of 3 years acute care experience. ACLS, TNCC. ENPCC are required within 12 months of employment. (Once ACLS is obtained, BLS is no longer required.)
Additional Requirements
High level of creative problem solving skills and priority setting. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Willingness to work in various areas/sites. Requires use of computer hardware/software and use of other office equipment. May be required to work overtime, weekends, holidays, call, and shift rotation. Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance. |
